Microsoft is trying to get more shares of the market from Nintendo and Sony by lower the price of the Xbox to $299 from $349.
Sony wants to turn its PlayStation to profit this year and is not likely to follow and the Nintendo Wii can not be delivered fast enough.
Keep on lower the price will not make the previous buyers happy but Microsoft need to get in their product in the market.
The price is not officially out yet but if you planning to buy a Xbox wait for a few weeks it will soon be lower.

Now it is official that there will be a sequel to Gears Of War known as Gears Of War 2. The game will be released by Microsoft for Xbox 360 in November this year. There are however not much to tell about this game yet. The original game was a great success when it was released in 2006, and it has sold 4,5 million samples around the globe. Gears of War 1 were also released for PC in 2007. In the first game we followed the earlier prisoner Marcus Fenix on dramatic assignments against the evil alien race known as The Locust. The graphic was amazing and the battles were huge. Let’s just hope the next game will be just as good or even better.

This is Soulstorm third expansion pack for the RTS Dawn of War. The cool thing about this expansion is that you don’t need all the other versions to make it run. The expansion also adds 2 new interesting races. The Dark Eldar and Sisters of Battle, except for this you will also be able to get flying vehicles which can go everywhere without thinking about the terrain. Dark Eldar is a very strong and aggressive race, the workers can construct buildings simply by starting them, they don’t have to stay and work on the building until it is done. The Dark Eldars has many cool units and some of them are maybe the strongest in game so far, but they lack however good leadership units.
Dark Eldar does also have to collect a new resource called souls. You can harvest these souls from enemies you kill in battle. Dark Elder can use these souls to cast spells anywhere on the battlefield and you won’t need any Hero’s to be able to perform these spells. The gameplay is however still in good balance even though Dark Eldar is a very strong race in many ways. They are fast, strong and powerful.

Sins of Solar Empire offers no campaign mode or a non-traditional campaign would be the best way to describe it. The single player mode is kind of like playing many different skirmish maps in a row and there is no following story when you enter the next map. This RTS features however many interesting features and still looks very promising especially in multiplayer mode since there is no story in single player mode. It is however easy to see that the producer Blair Fraiser has really worked in the details on each map. While you play you are able to ally up with other races and people to defeat a larger enemy together. This is really cool and with the excellent AI this may be the best thing with the whole game. Example: In order to improve diplomatic relations with one race, we were asked to wipe out 5 civilian colonies of another race. When you are on team with someone you are also able to break loose from the team and betray you team mate. This is a cool feature because then things are always what they seem to be.
The game is all about conquering different galaxies and you have to use everyone you can to do it before someone else does it. A battle can last for many hours though so you better have good time when you play this game. The game goes however live next month and I think this will be a huge multiplayer hit.

Devil May Cry 4 is probably the best game in the series so far and it’s the first one to come out on PS3 with such an amazing graphic. The weapons in Devil May Cry 4 really rocks or at least in varying degrees. While Nero looks like a clone of Dante, his Devil Bringer is an amazing weapon/tool which can really aid you well in battle. Half way through the game you switch control to Dante. This is really cool feature because both Nero and Dante have many different special attacks and it is cool to test them all out. The only bad thing about this is that you loose Nero’s Devil Bringer. Dante is very different then Nero and you will feel a big difference when you change character. Nero’s guns are however very weak and you don’t have much time to fire away those huge charged shots. Once you get control of Dante you should start use his sword, when you get close to the enemy they are indeed dead. Dante also has a grapple beam to bring the enemies close to him this is very useful when fighting long range battles as Dante. Dante has many cool and amazing sword combinations and if you master the eventual Gilgamesh upgrade you will be able to turn Dante into a lightning fast devilish monk. There are however many fantastic weapons in Devil May Cry 4 just test it out for yourself.

Dark Sector is a new upcoming third-person shooter for PS3 and Xbox 360. You can use ranged weapons or fight melee with tricks you learn on your way. You play as the character Hayden Tenno and you have a strange disease. After some wacky scientist injected a serum into Hayden’s right arm he can no longer move it. Hayden then has to find this crazy scientist. Hayden also processes the power of mind manipulation so he can get enemies over to his side. This is maybe the best ability in the whole game. Hayden is also able to keep the infection in his arm and not let it take over his whole body. Normal people cannot keep the disease from spreading and they turn into zombies faster then lightning. Hayden can use this to his advantage because he can manage to transform his arm into bionic arm and then you are able to use a glaive (a very good weapon).
The glaive is like a tri-bladed Frisbee made of steel and it will chop of anything in its way. You are also capable to put this weapon on fire, dip it on poison and much cooler stuff. You are also able to obtain guns, swords and many other cool weapons. Dark Sector uses a propriety engine that somehow maintains a high frame rate even when a bushel of flaming zombies are charging at you. You should keep your eyes up for the game.

Condemned 2 is a sneaky FPS it looks almost identical to Manhunt 2 but in Condemned 2 your enemies wears pig and skull masks, creepy? Some of the missions in Condemned 2 take place during Halloween so that explains us why they run around in these masks. You will encounter many of these masked guys fighting each other. Sega the creators of the game explain that it is a riot going on. There are a lot of boxing and street fighting in this game and many impressive scenes.
In the first Condemned the combat system was very easy and basic, you could not swing with your fists, and you always had to grab a weapon. Here the fighting is much more advanced, you can use hit combos, build up rage which you can use for special moves. You are also able to break the enemy’s arms and legs. The game is very violent and when you have beaten and enemy so he falls down on his knees and begging for mercy you can take him to several different places for a natural kill. For example throw him of a bridge, bash his head in the sink or simply drown him in the toilet. The opportunities seem endless here. Keep your head up for this game its one of a kind.

GTA 4 is the newest game in the GTA series and it will be out on PS3 and Xbox 360 this year. As you might know there have been 2 GTA games in between GTA 3 and 4. We got vice city and san andreas. Both of these games were a great success and now we take a look at GTA 4 what it has to offer.
GTA 4 got a very freely gameplay and the opportunities are almost limitless. You will be able to play this game for hundred of hours without going tired. This is also the first GTA game with a real multiplayer mode. In single player mode you play the character Niko. Niko is a man willing to take on nearly any job for the right price. The cop system has been refreshed and the cop’s driver better then ever. It is also harder to avoid the cops and it can only be done of you get all cops away from your radar kind of like in Metal Gear Solid. In GTA 4 you can also buy food, the food will restore your health and at the hospital you can get medical packs etc. You also don’t have a health meter in GTA 4 you simple have to zoom in your character and look at him, if he is full of blood with messy clothes you better get your butt to the hospital. The third-person shooting mechanics have undergone a major overhaul in GTA IV, which should address nearly every complaint about the combat leveled at previous entries into the series. You are able to auto target your enemies here but sometimes it better to use manual aiming if you are going for head shots. GTA 4 looks like a interesting game and I think it will be a major hit.
