The phone has smooth corners and is quite compact which easily fits into the pocket. It has a short antenna at the top which looks quite good. This flip top phone does not have an external display and to make the screen visible and to know the identity of the caller one has to open the flap which is the upper part of the phone. The screen of the phone is 1.75 inches diagonally. The font size and the brightness of the display of the screen cannot be changed and adjusted but on the other hand the contrast and the backlight timer can be adjusted. The phone comes with games like Brick Attack and Race 21 and more can be downloaded with the help of Virgin XL.
The other important features of the phone are text messaging, wireless web, automatic redial, tip calculator, stopwatch, calculator, voice dialing, scheduler, voice recording, timer and also a speakerphone. Through the Virgin XL one can personalize one’s cell and get as many screensavers, wallpapers, ring tones and many greetings courtesy media outlet. The set has a phone book which can store up to six numbers against each contact entry, it can also store two email, two web and two street addresses and notes. The phone has only four polyphonic ring tones. Each entry can be assigned with a photo and one of the ring tones, but the pictures are the graphics which are already inbuilt in the phone’s memory as there is no camera or multimedia messaging.
The phone supports 3.6 hours of talk time. It comes with a web browser and is quite well designed with easy to use buttons.
The phone lacks an external screen and the display is quite lackluster.
