Review of the Samsung Juke SCH-U470-blue
Samsung Juke SCH-U470-blue (Verizon Wireless)
This is the current favorite phone with both the editor of cell review site as well as the users. It has got very good ratings from both the editor and the users. The numerical values of the rates are 7.0 and 7.6 on 10 by the editor and user respectively. The phone is a sliding one and the design is quite attractive. One can have confusion on first seeing it, that whether it is a phone or a MP3 player.
The Samsung Juke has a spun-metal wheel used for navigation but the screen of the set is not very wide. The phone comes with a digital camera but of the VGA kind. The photos can be taken in three resolutions and has some editing options. The colors, brightness, and night mode options are also available. The images taken are at par with the VGA camera. The camera comes with both sound and silent options. It also has a self portrait mirror. The phone has an inbuilt music player of good sound quality and 3D sound settings. The player supports files of various formats like MP3, ACC, WMA, and ACC+ and so on. The internal memory is not too large; it’s only about 2GB for storing the music files. The other features are instant, text and multimedia messaging. The set comes with a speakerphone, voice command facilities, calendar, alarm clock, world clock, and stopwatch and so on. The phone book has room for 500 entries supporting 5 numbers against each entry along with two email addresses and notes. Groups can be formed and ring tones and photos can be attached to each group.
The call quality including the sound clarity is good. The speakerphone is fine and the volume is decent. The music quality of the phone is quite good. The design is a bit unusual and hence attractive.
The phone has some design flaws and lacks expandable memory and many features and a video camera.
