The phone has got very good rating from the editors of cell phone review and it has got an immense response from the users. The users have rated the phone excellent and has given it 8.2 on 10. The phone has a touch screen facility. It also has the option for an onscreen keyboard. The numbers are outlined with red to help them distinguish between the black backgrounds. The Sony Ericsson P1i comes with a 3.2 mega pixel camera with 3x zoom and four shooting modes. Video recording is also available with the phone. The camera has a flash, choice of quality settings and various effects needed. In video there are options of frame sizes. The picture quality is good and the clarity is perfect. The colors are very bright and give life to the pictures. But the video quality is not so good. The phone also comes with a Bluetooth and Wi-Fi network to connect to the net easily.
The phone has two games loaded, Quadra Pop and Vijay Singh Pro Golf 3D. The other entertainment features of the phone include a FM radio as well as music and video players. MP3, MP4, 3GP and ACC music files are supported by the system and the sound quality is pretty good. The phone has a memory limited to the memory of the phone. Each contact entry has place for storing multiple numbers against it. Email, home, work addresses along with birthdays and other important information can be stored against each entry. There are total 31 ring tones all polyphonic. Caller groups can be formed which can be assigned with a photo. Individual photo can also be assigned against each entry. The phone comes with other features like speakerphone, multimedia messaging, vibrating mode, call waiting service.
The call quality is good. Productivity applications are provided. The WI-FI and Bluetooth are its attraction.
It does not support U.S. 3G network its performance is quite slow at times.

The editor of the cell review site has declared the phone as very good, marking it a 7.3 on 10. This phone is not the trendy slim one. It is a big phone and the body is quite hard and is also a bit weighty. The keypad buttons of the phone is quite big and it is hence easy for the users to type fast. There is not much gap between the buttons but as they are bigger in size people with large fingers won’t have any problem. The USB port of the phone is located on its left side.
The phone is equipped with a 2 mega-pixel camera with 8x zooming capacity. It can also record videos. There are different shooting modes available for still pictures and a flash is also to be found. The picture quality is not as good as expected, the colours were a bit grayish but the video was of good quality. The brightness of the still pictures can also be adjusted. The other features of the phone are, it has a speakerphone, speed dialing, three-way calling, world roaming, conference calling and the most important, and it has facilities of both text and multimedia messages. The phone book is limited to the memory of the phone but the SIM card can hold up to another 250 numbers. A single entry allows storing multiple phone numbers, email, web, home and company addresses. There are a total 39 ring tones which are polyphonic in nature. Pictures can be assigned against each name for caller ID purpose. The wireless option of the phone is pretty good. An inbuilt radio is to be found in the phone. It also supports music files and various channels.
The phone has a good call quality and the multimedia performance is satisfactory. It features HSDPA support and the keypad is spacious.
The battery life is not strong and sometimes it becomes quite slow. Not equipped with scroll wheel.

A superior quality digital media player which is extremely useful and necessary for the functioning of Apple’s iPods are the iTunes. It was introduced in 2001 by Apple for arranging and listening to audio and video files. iTunes are extremely efficient in functioning and there are iTune Stores online and in the presence of an internet connection it is possible to log in to this site and download various music videos, television shows, iPod games and various podcasts ,ring tones, audiobooks and digital music files. iTunes are therefore a boon to music lovers as they offer multitudes of facilities to download music files of their choice and the iTunes offer playlist functions by means of which it is possible for the users record compact discs, copy files to a digital audio player and most importantly form their own playlists by arranging music tracks of their choice. There is also a facility called Smart Playlists by means of which hit is possible fro the iTune users to update their application automatically. There are also certain applications known as ‘metadata’ and it refers to the characteristics of a song which has been edited or updated by the user. All kinds of audio information are stored in the iTunes Library while the iTunes Music Library. xml and it provides revived information whenever iTunes undergoes some alteration.
For encouraging users, a service called iMix is also introduced by the iTunes store which is a playlist that has been created entirely by the various users. Internet radio facilities are offered in iTune aided by the support of the Kerbango Radio stations. iTunes can also play the audio and some of the video files supported by the QuickTime Players. Prominent functions of the iTunes include the facility of file sharing through the Digital Audio Access Protocol or DAAP. iTunes also allows viewing if video files and plug-in facilities along with podcasting.
