Well my J2SE Runtime Environment from 5.0 to 6.4 take up about a Gigabyte of space on my hard drive. I could not believe that the J2SE Runtime Environment would take up that much space.

After some searching I found out that it does not need all that space it is just that the knuckle heads at the Sun Java Company installs it over and over. They do not make a small update they just install a new program.

So you can uninstall all the “updates” and just save the last version. There is no need to save them all they just take up space.

Also unplug the auto updates since it will slower your computer and the internet connection down. Just take one day a month and update all programs while watching some favorite video on the computer or something.

I spend most of my time in general webmaster forums like Digital Point forum searching for information. But sometimes you need to ask about something different like java code then it is better to go to a forum that only deals on java.

I found great help from the guys in Java Programming Forums they are always willing to help you out with different java problem and the answers come more quick then in a general webmaster forum.
