A new mode notebook computer from Compaq is introduced in the market. Compaq Presario 700 - Duron 900 MHz Notebook is designed with striking features. The outlook of the notebook is enhanced using the dual tome design which also helps to improve the performance of the notebook. The display of the notebook is 14.1 inches which uses the TFT Active Matrix technology with the resolution capacity of 1024 x 768 pixels to improve the quality of the picture. The operating system that supports the device is Windows XP Home Edition Operating System. Duron processor is used in this model with maximum processing speed up to 200 MHz. 128 MB RAM is the memory capacity of the model, which can also support up to 384MB. For storing high quality videos, 16MB of installed video memory is used in this Compaq Presario 700 - Duron 900 MHz. Lithium Ion battery technology is used in the device which enhances the usage time of the battery. One of the most significant tools required for the functioning of the computer is the computer monitor which is responsible fro presenting all the imageries and actions on the computer screen and needless to say it is indispensable fro the proper functioning of the computers. While initially computer screens displayed images via the use of CRT or the cathode ray tube technology, at present flat screens have become prevalent and such screens like the TFL LCD are currently being used in computer monitor screens.

In fact it can be said without a trace of doubt that the LCDs or liquid crystal displays are the prominent technical tools used in computer monitors for the flat screens. Also plasma displays are emergingly becoming common in terms of usage in case of flat screen computer monitors.
