Lara Croft is back in Tomb Raider Underworld 2008

Last time we saw Lara Croft she was in Tomb Raider: Legend now she is back again in Tomb Raider Underworld and the producers made a whole new graphic engine. Tomb Raider Underworld is however only in pre-alpha and it is not known when the game will be out yet. The game shows many positive signs so we ask ourselves “is this the Tomb Raider game we have been waiting for?”

The Game will be out for at least Xbox 360 and PC but I am not sure about the PS3 yet. The Xbox 360 version is however full of gorgeous details. They have managed to use the lightning very well here. The light reflects on Lara or any other character and is simply beautiful. They keep the darker passages really dark and scary while on open places they use very well made dynamic lightning like torches etc.

Except from the huge graphical update Lara herself has also changed a little bit. She now looks more masculine. She don’t look like a man but just not as feminine as she did in the first games. I mean a girl has to gain some muscles when she swings herself through perilous ruins all day. It is still not known where Underworld takes place but to me it looks like Egypt or maybe Thailand? Next time ill take a look in her passport when I meet her in Underworld.

Beowulf with Angelina Jolie stunning body in 3D

Beowulf

Nationality: American
Year: 2007
Playtime: 1 hour 54 minutes
Cast: Ray Winstone, Anthony Hopkins, Angelina Jolie, Crispin Glover, Brendan Gleeson, Robin Wright Penn, John Malkovich

The Movie: “Beowulf” is supposed to be the oldest English written myth. The myth is about the Danish soldiers being tortured by a terrifying demon and the demons mother. But then the Viking hero Beowulf arrives and the hunter becomes the hunted.

Judge: Beowulf exists in a normal and a 3D-version. This review is made from the 3D version. The movie gets very intense this way when they fight the demon and when Angelina is on the screen only dressed on gold paint. This is supposed to be Denmark, but the mountains look like they are taken from Norway. The roles are played by real actors which later has been computer animated. The animation is good and dynamic but very stiff, they actually reminds me of the mouth to mouth dolls they use for medical training in the army. The best parts of the movie are the battles and watching Angelina Jolie’s body in full 3D
