One of my favorite TV series is “My name is Earl”. You know the guy with 3 ex wives and some children that was never his. He believes in karma and he have to do good deeds to keep him living. He also won a lot of money on lottery but karma want him to do good deeds with the money.
Now a guy that won 10 million on lottery in America has gone to prison for 17 years for killing 3 people in a traffic accident. All the money he won is gone; he gave most of them to the victims of the crash.
Some times karma do strange things with your life you better believe it.
Saw a pretty cool DVD last night called Juno. It about Juno 16 years old, she got pregnant and the father is Bleeker. Where do they find these names?
She decides to give the unborn baby out for adoption and is looking for a father that works as a graphic designer and have an Asian girlfriend. She found something similar to that and starts talking to them.
The movie is very sweet and cool language but the absolute best is the soundtrack for Juno its really super sweet. See if you can find it a store near you or maybe on iTunes it will be worth your time.
Maybe it is time to take a good look at the old Mad Max movies. The price of oil is going up as never before and may reach $200 in a few weeks. In Indonesia people are rioting today because the government can not longer keep the price down. In Europe fishermen and professional drivers are protesting the high prices.
In Egypt the people are revolting against the high price of bread that comes from the high price of oil.
So remember the Mad Max movies and remember we already start fighting for oil in Iraq. If you have not seen the movie now is a good time to see it.
The maker of Out of Africa, Sliding doors and Tootsie has died 73 years of age. Sydney Pollack one of the big directors died quietly of cancer in his home yesterday.
He won an Oscar for Out of Africa and we worked with superstars like Burt Lancaster, Natalie Wood, Jane Fonda, Robert Mitchum, Al Pacino, Dustin Hoffman, Meryl Streep, Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford, Nicole Kidman, and Ms. Streisand
I saw the latest Pollack performance just last week when he was in Entourage from HBO playing himself.
Here is a list of some of the movies he created and we remember

This is a very funny advertising from a Brazilian company I think. All you have to do is to put your name and your friends name in. You do not need to enter email or friends email but I guess it would be more fun if you did. Be sure to watch the movie to the end that’s where all the fun starts.
After you does that just click “Vizular” and let the fun start.
If anybody knows what she says or have similar fun advertising sites please send them my way I love to hear about it.

Marie Antoinette, another movie of Sophia Coppola, the famous director who is the daughter of Ford Coppola, the director of Godfather I, II and III. Marie Antoinette is a bit disappointing me because I think it expected in it a lot since I know it was Sophia Coppola’s movies. I love all her movies since the Virgin Suicides and Lost in Translation.
But the thing I like about Marie Antoinette is the soundtrack which is composed by the Swedish band called “The Radio Apartment”. I love all songs in the movie. And one more thing I like is the dresses. All dresses that Marie Antoinette wears look stunning and amazing.
Anyway, Marie Antoinette is not that bad if you don’t expect a lot more from it like me since the director is Sophia Coppola. But you will enjoy it still with the great scene of the Versailles Palace, the dresses and the songs.
City of God or Cidade De Deus, the movie from Brazil which is a good mix of violence, love, tragedy, adventure, sex, murder, friendship and gangster. All of them can be found in this movie. It’s the movie which the leading role is a normal man who stayed in the violence city in Rio De Janeiro of Brazil. The movie showed his life since his childhood in the era of 60 until his adolescent time in the era of 70.
City of God is the city which really exists at Rio De Janeiro in Brazil. It’s full of violence and drug. The city was controlled by powerful drug dealers and turns to be the war field because there is more than one powerful drug dealer but two, so the war happened in order to have only one dealers control the city.
The story was told by a normal man who lived his normal life at the city of God. He didn’t prefer the life of the drug dealers but want to be a photographer instead. And because of his loving career, it turned him to get involved with drug dealers accidentally. He became the photographer who took photos for drug dealers and post them on the newspaper. If you want to know more about this movie, I suggest you to buy and watch it by yourself. I can tell you it’s so worth your time.
It’s the best movie with many violent scenes better suit to people who are more than 18. The only thing I doubt about this movie is that why they don’t get the Academy Award.
Trainspotting is one of my favorite movies ever. It’s the story of a group of friends who are addicted to drug. I have to see that this is a movie with many scenes of drug and a lot describe about people who are the drug addictors.
Ewan McGregor acted so great in this movie. I will never forget the scene that he dip his head into the toilet flush in order to look for the drugs which he throw them into it. I have to say it’s the most disgusting scene I’ve ever seen in my life and still remind me if someone talk to me about trainspotting that scene will come first to my mind.
Besides from a lof of drug, sex and violence scenes, there is also the language. They speak English in this movie but with Scottish accent which, for my opinion, the hardest English accent to understand what they say. Especially for me who thinks the English people’s accent is very hard to understand but since I saw this movie, the English people’s accent is like a piece of cake for me to understand.
If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s not too late to find the DVD to look at it again but it’s not that easy to find since it’s a 11-year-old movie. It took me almost three months to get that movie, I have to ask for many DVD shops until I get one from the DVD shop near to my home, what a waste of time.
Anyway, it’s not the movie with the greatest script if compare with others but there are many scenes that you will remember forever about this movie.
The Golden Compass Nationality: American Year: 2007 Playtime: 1 hour 54 minutes Cast: Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig, Dakota Blue Richards, Adam Godley, Sam Elliot
The Movie: Fantasy based on Phillip Pullmans famous books “His Dark Materials” The Golden Compass is the start for this series. 11 year old Lyra is living in a world much like our own but not 100%. For example the human soul lives outside their body in a shape of an animal. Lyra lives in a school and she got no parents. The school looks like a nice place but scary things happen.
Judge: I think The Golden Compass was a big failure of a movie, because I actually expected this to be a very good and interesting movie. The whole movie is just a mix of brutality and torture against defenseless children. This could be okay if they added some humor and some warm aspects, but you don’t get anything of that the movie is just ice cold. There is also a lack of a good background story and about the world they live in. I had a hard time understanding this movies since they keep adding new stuff to the story that don’t make any sense at all.
I would not recommend this movie to anyone unless you like almost 2 hours with pure torture of children.
