Cat Humiliation System From Japan

Hello Kitty

Japan just released a new transformation set of ‘Hello Kitty’. This transformation pack, which comes with a variety of different unusual things, will help you to turn you cat into the most weird cat of the block. From the looks of it, the cat neither looks happy, nor satisfied.

Looks real funny, but, alas… cats should be given some respect!
To look at a gallery of cats that have no dignity, exactly in the same way as the above cat, jump over to Gizmodo & Cats.

New CellPhone Concept For The Blind Utilizes Angled Keys And No Screen

Blind phone

There’s a new cellphone design out there, or rather a concept by Peter Lau which is should allow blind users to easily and dial make phone calls.

The interesting part is that the design/concept does not incorporate the usual braille keys. Instead, the keys are angled. Users can then actually learn these keys and effectively make calls faster and much more easily.
However, this thing has no screen (obvious!)

Most people have this question, as to how the blind people will send the SMS. So far, this is just a concept and there are no details regarding the SMS functionality in this. But, it seems pretty obvious that some kind of speech to text voice analysis function will be incorporated in it.
The phone might read the text messages aloud as you compose them.

Although there are not much details on it as yet, as the case is with most concepts, but the design certainly does look cool and innovative.
What say guys?

Microsoft Incorporates A ‘Mouse’ In A Phone

micro mouse

So, what happens when Microsoft decides to implement a mouse inside a cellphone. And then, head over to the office to patent this pathetic.. oops.. I mean, innovative innovation?

1. A system that facilitates navigating on a display, comprising: a mouse engine component that detects a location; and an interface component that integrates the mouse engine into a handheld communication device.

This thing still has me confused. So, while I figure out exactly what it is.. read more of it at Gizmodo :)

DIY Drinking Straws, Sucking Is Fun Now

DIY Straw

Long chain straws strapped with scotch tapes, glue, etc are real fun. However, do you people know there is something more wacky out there? Super Wacky?

Yeah, that is what the DIY strawz is about. The set, which goes for $12.99 ships with 20 connectors, and 16 straws.
This means, you can make different combinations/connections to help you suck liquid out of different cups at once (probably help you to make ‘your’ version of ‘mixed fruit juice’ eh?), or form a giant chain of straws so that it takes about 2 minutes for the liquid to reach your mouth.

One way or the other, this will certainly keep you and your kids really busy with loads of sucking fun ;)

Lava Lamp CellPhone Charm Lights Up and Blinks When You Have A Call

Phone Charm

While most cellphone charms do nothing more than actually charm the people around you and be charming, this LavaLamp is actually useful. I know, this looks like just another cellphone charm, but, it is different, and serves its purpose just right.

Basically, you can always keep your phone on vibration, or even totally silent, yet, almost never miss your calls. Or, you could choose to have the loudest ringtone set on your phone, and irritate everyone around you. Nice idea.

Oh yeah, and if you don’t like the shape of a LavaLamp to be your cellphone charm, you can always choose to get one shaped like a miniature light bulb.

I know, that most charms could actually seriously damage your cellphone, clinking and crashing with the cellphone in your pocket, this one is probably safe.
And, this one does not even plug into your cellphone. It just relies on the RF interference emitted from the cellphone for its functionality. Chances are, this may not work every time, but when you have something dangling so dangerously close to your cellphone, it SHOULD work everytime.

For $12 which includes shipping, this is NOT bad!

NotePal Infinite From CoolerMaster Keeps Your Laptop Real Cool

Notepal-Infinite laptop cooler

CoolerMaster has come up with NotePal Infinite, which has variable speed fans under a wide steel bed to keep your laptop cool.

What is different and probably unique in this, (which is also a strong positive point) is that the cooling fans are located on the rear of NotePal Infinite, and not along its bottom. This can ensure good and regulated airflow to your laptop, even on surfaces that are not entirely flat. Such as your bed, legs, head, fingers, hands, etc (it is a laptop for hell’s sake!!).

All of this, is supposed to cool down your laptop by about 60 degrees. Whoa! That is some cooling! WoW….

It supports 12″ to 17″ laptops.
However, there’s no word on the pricing or availability yet.

BlueSky Comes Up With A Waterproof Wallet

DoshWallet

So, BlueSky Design Group has come up with the Dosh Waterproof Wallet. This thing uses flexible and semi-flexible polymers which not only makes it tough and bendable, but also waterproof.

So, nothing new in it, except for its waterproof ability. Could really be a lifesaver on a rainy day you know.
It has the usual space for credit cards, and a different compartment for all the coins in the world that you carry along with you. Not to forget, a separate space for keys or SIM cards.

But, the amazing waterproof Dosh Wallet lacks the display area for photo IDs we used to have.

And yeah, incase you are not too much into orange or anything that has something to do with the color orange, you can choose from a few colors.

DoshWallet Colors

Going at around $40, this thing could be useful for you, IF, you’re thinking of traveling to a rainy place ;)

Wow… Paper T-Rex?

T-Rex

Yeah, I guess it is time to take a break from posting about shiny new gadgets and switching over to something that is a lot more useless, makes no sense, is made of paper (!!!), and satisfies the ‘random posting’ policy of Stackians.
In simple terms, you just crank/turn the handle, and the paper T-Rex.. yeah.. the one shown above, munches on anything and everything that you put in it’s path.
Oh yeah, just make sure, that the ‘thing’ is small enough to fit the T-Rex’s mouth.

Flying Pig, the company behind this fantastic paper creativity, has more different animals, and fairies for you. BUT, no Transformers… aw.. that sucks!

Going for $7.50 a piece, this thing ships as a flatpack. Happy assembling/creating the T-Rex.

Fujitsu’s LiberTouch KeyBoard

QWER’STACK’Y

Finally, for all those who absolutely hated the QWERTY style keyboard, here’s your chance to show the world that you can do better with your own personalized keyboard. Fujitsu has decided to take innovation a step further by introducing their LiberTouch keyboard.

Using a little tool, that comes with it (and that you will surely lose), the keys pop out for repositioning them the way you always wanted (ABCD style?). Another amusing use that you could put this to would be either throwing them at people (if you choose to throw them outside the window, people passing by will surely acknowledge your geeky attitude).

Another feature of this keyboard is that they have adjustable resistances, so this allows you to totally customize your experience.

There’s no word out on the price yet, however, Fujitsu hopes to sell about 12,000 of these per year once released.

I’ll buy one of these. Have a lot of amusing ideas I could certainly experiment with ;)
