Yahoo practical joke with Google search

Yahoo has made a bond with McAfee to tell internet users when the site can be dangerous for users. It will be either McAfee that tells you or it can be the some users that have reported the site.

I think this is a great step for safer surfing from Yahoo and McAfee and I hope more users will use Yahoo search from now they deserve some traffic as well.

The “funny” thing is that Yahoo or McAfee have listed Google.com as a dangerous website with downloads.

If they did this by purpose or they made a practical joke with Google we do not know but I can assure you Google search is very safe but addictive.

Can not use Google url and Adsense

You can never have a URL that has a name that is copyrighted to Google if you want to use Adsense in any form. That means that word like Google, Adsense, Adword, Google Map and many more are forbidden to bed used as or in connection with the URL.

We have a Google Blog and on the blog we used Google Adsense for about 1 year. After that we got banned and I thought it was we changed the design to look more like Google but after we sent them an email asking them about they said you can never have a Google name in your Url.

Google Doc is coming offline

It looks like Google is launching a Google Doc offline version. Some people have been seeing a screen shot of the live offline version. This should be a big step forward to take on Google’s rival Microsoft.

There is as usual no official word from Google because they like to sneak out secrets and make a hype of them and then make a private invite for a year. After they let everybody wait people are like kids on Christmas for the new application.

Don’t expect to see the new offline version yet it is still in a beta testing mood but at least it’s on its way. Even if it is not good it will make Microsoft lower its price for Word

How to get back your Google Adsense account

Your Innocence

First off all do not bother to say you are innocent of you are not. There is no point fighting for something that is not true. This is not a court and Google will answer you with loads of standard letters if you persist.

If you are innocent then you must understand that Google is very strict when it comes to the policy of Google Adsense. They need to protect the Google Adword customers. If you belief of innocence’s if strong there is nothing that should stop you to appeal to Google.

Use Goggle to get help

The first thing you can do is find out the reason why you are banned. When you the reason ask Google once more if they can pinpoint what made the ban you.
When you know the full reason you can start searching for people that been in the same situation and what they did. You can use forums like Digital Point or just do a normal search on Google. “I got banned from Adsense” will give you a lot of tips.

Be nice

You have to be nice to Google. They will for sure answer you with standard letters the first time but if you make a really good case then be very polite to them if the answer anger you and you not get the answer you want.

Take time

To appeal this kind of thing it will take time. Google will send you standard letters for most of the time but you just have to hang in there and put forward your case. Do not let your whole internet business go down because of Google Adsense Banned you there are other options as well.

They are a big company and they also need to check everything before they can answer you. A staff can not just put you back on he will be answering to all the Adwords customers.

Google Adsense to stop domains kiting

Google are going to try to stop people from abusing domain names that expired to make money. Many people use Google Adsense domain program to make money from parked domains or domains for sale.

If you sell your domains trough SEDO for example they will show Google Adsense ads on your site when they waiting for something to buy it. They will share their revenue with you and send to you Pay Pal account. SEDO is a legit company but many other once are not.

Many companies do so called domain kiting when the domain almost expired but yet released. There is a grace period that these company use to make money. Google Adsense will not stop this with a new detection system that will block ads if the site has been target for domain kiting.

Buy traffic get banned by Adsense

Some Google Adsense users might think it’s a brilliant idea to buy traffic to theirs domains. Those people can not be more wrong, Google Adsense will detect your little scam and if you lucky you get a warning if you unlucky you get your Google Adsense account banned.

Nobody can tell you if you just a get a warning or not but if you are new user to Adsense the risk is off course bigger you get your account banned.

An email from Google Adsense might look something like this and if you look at the email it will clearly tell you not to buy traffic.

It has come to our attention that invalid clicks or impressions have
been generated on your Google ads, posing a financial risk to our
AdWords advertisers. We’ve found that users of third-party programs
have been paid or provided with other incentives to visit your site.
Such programs include, but are not limited to, auto-surf, pay-to-surf,
pay-to-read, or pay-to-click sites. Please note that any method that
artificially generates click or impressions on Google ads is strictly
prohibited by our program policies, as such activity may artificially
inflate an advertiser’s costs or a publisher’s earnings.

We understand that you may want more information about the activity we
detected. However, because we have a need to protect our proprietary
detection systems, we’re unable to provide our publishers with any
details about their account activity, including any web pages, users,
or third-party services that may have been involved. Thank you for your
understanding.

Is proxy and Adsense dead?

The business with creating proxy really took speed in the end of last year. People were creating proxy account with server and script for less then $5. Some people still make money with proxy sites and Adsense but not as much before.

I am really amazed that Google Adsense still approve of proxy site sine they can be used to visit some very nasty sites. It think its only a time before Adsense block them.

But for you that want to jump on the proxy train there is a backside that need to be looked after as well.

The Google Adsense ads on the proxy pay very badly
Most of the traffic is from Arab or china
You have to have a dedicated server that allows proxy and it will eat bandwidth
You are also not allowed to put the banners on the “surf site” of the proxy the ads can only be on the first page.

Google PageRank downgrade mystery

According to some blogs on the internet blogs the low PageRank people have gotten because of they write paid post, maybe turns our to be a bluff.

Many webmasters and blog owners have said that they seen a glimpse of their former PageRank when they checked for PageRank some days. So maybe Google just put a smoke cover of the PageRank and its still there until they know what to do with it.

The funny things when Google pushed down all of the people selling links to zero they did not loose their positions in Google they just got PageRank 0.

Google has not given any specific answers yes on how you can get the PageRank back or if you ever can. This thing just adds on to the mystery of PageRank.

LG Phone, With Google Preloaded… New Combo?

Google preloaded phone

What you see above is the new LG KU580 pre-loaded with many Google apps such as Gmail, Google Maps, search, etc. Many outlets, such as The Register are calling this the ultimate Google Phone.
Nothing special to me I would say. What do you find special about a phone that is pre-loaded with apps that you can download for free anyways? :P

Anyway, the phone is a 3G phone, with 2MP camera and styling that is similar to the LG Chocolate.

Does this mean a partnership between Google and LG? Well, you never know… Google has always liked to release its new products/services by surprise and a big BANG! Could this be just another one of those? :P

Fat chances I would say, but let’s just wait and watch.. Comments welcome ;)

Rumor: Google Testing Outbound Calling from Google Talk?

Google Talk

If this found image is to be believed, Google is in the midst of testing a SkypeOut-like service with their own Google Talk. If you’re not familiar, Google Talk is their IM and PC to PC calling app that’s tied into other Google apps like GMail.

Why’s this interesting? Well, seeing as Google is Google, they’d no doubt integrate calling into some of their other popular products as well. How about (since their #1 business is still advertising) making you listen to an ad before you make a free call? Or, if you have to pay, making you pay through Google Checkout in order to get a lower fee? Both interesting, and both possible if Google really is going forward with PC-to-phone calling.
