The day after gaming sites all over the world told us about a new Star Wars: Knight of the old Republic game, Electronic Arts does not confirm these rumours. Under a presentation of boss John Riccitello it was showed a list which looks like to be planned games for the future. Knight of the old Republic 3 was however not on the list but Knight of the old Republic 1 was. The next day we found out that the list was actually not only a overview over coming games but also over old games. When people saw KOTOR on the list they took this as KOTOR3. EA says they are sorry for the misleading error but they never said there will be a KOTOR3. When people ask them hey simply say that it is not certain and they cannot give out any more information.

It has been 7 years since the last game in the Command & Conquer series was released and believe there are more then Electron Arts that wants a new game in the series. A few days ago it was confirmed that Red Alert 3 is under development. Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 will be available for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. The games are about a third world between Russia and Japan. As usual we will see many familiar weapons and tons of more tech stuff like the tesla-coil, heavy armoured battleships, smart defines, an army of infantry and heavy combat vehicles. Red Alert 3 is being developed by EA in Los Angeles. The game contains the gold old Red Alert style while also introducing new stuff.

Deadly Creatures for Wii is not a game for pussies. This action/thriller in third person gives you the control over a scorpion or a tarantella. You have to fight the ugliest creatures in a huge and dangerous desert. THQ are the producers of the game and they hope the game will raise the standard for third person games. The game offers brutal battles with a dark and mysterious story. The graphic is also amazing for Wii and it will be one of the best graphical games for Wii so far. You will face many creatures that you have to fight like spiders, lizards and even humans. While you are fighting other creatures there will be told a scary story seen through the eyes of the deadliest insects. He game will be out in 2008 but I cannot say exactly when.

The crazy TrackManis games have gotten a lot of fans from their PC games. Now TrackManis enter the console world. According to the developer Focus Home Interactive, TrackMania will be out late this year on DS. In TrackManis DS you will drive on courses that look like rollercoaster’s with jumps and other challenges. The game will also let you make your own courses so the opportunities are almost endless. The best thing about TrackManis on PC is of course the multiplayer function. This will also be available at DS together with many other game modes. I believe this is a game that every racing fan with a DS will need in their collection.

When LG had a press conference on Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last week they launched 4 new phones. KF510, KF600, KF700 and KS20 were the name of the launched phones. The company’s only professional phone with a full keyboard, 2 screens and Symbian called S60 was not brought to this conference. I think what LG is trying to say here is that buttons and full keyboards are out. KT610 is however the latest multifunction from LG. The phone can easily be compared with Nokias E90. It is however smaller and lighter. KT610 can be used s a normal phone or a full keyboard phone. You can open the phone up like you open up a laptop so the phone offers tons of facilities. It is still now known exactly what this phone got to offer yet but ill keep you updated.

There is no doubt that phones with big touch sensitive screens that covers the whole front of the mobile is in like Apple Iphone, LG Prada and Samsung Armani. Buttons can however be more useful for text messages. The designer Chris Owens has however invented a designer phone with see through buttons. The phone is called Edge. The first cool thing about edge is that the buttons are hided inside the phone and when you take the panel out you can see right through it. The buttons will also light up when you press them but if you don’t you cannot see them. On the back of the phone there is also a camera. Owens are however still unsure about the specs for his new project phone.

It was no secret that World in Conflict was on the way for Xbox 360 but today it is official that the game will be out for PS3 as well. The game will be out for both of the consoles later this year. World of Conflict was one of the best games on the market in 2007. The action focused gameplay makes the game perfect for consoles says Martin Tremblay from Sierra in a press conference. Personally I just hope we will be able to use mouse and keyboard, anything else would be ridicules. The game has also only gotten only top grades in all magazines.

This is Soulstorm third expansion pack for the RTS Dawn of War. The cool thing about this expansion is that you don’t need all the other versions to make it run. The expansion also adds 2 new interesting races. The Dark Eldar and Sisters of Battle, except for this you will also be able to get flying vehicles which can go everywhere without thinking about the terrain. Dark Eldar is a very strong and aggressive race, the workers can construct buildings simply by starting them, they don’t have to stay and work on the building until it is done. The Dark Eldars has many cool units and some of them are maybe the strongest in game so far, but they lack however good leadership units.

Dark Eldar does also have to collect a new resource called souls. You can harvest these souls from enemies you kill in battle. Dark Elder can use these souls to cast spells anywhere on the battlefield and you won’t need any Hero’s to be able to perform these spells. The gameplay is however still in good balance even though Dark Eldar is a very strong race in many ways. They are fast, strong and powerful.

Tiberium is another game in the Command and Conquer series but this game has something interesting in it. Just like Command and Conquer Renegade from 2002 Tiberium is also a FPS game mixed with RTS. You will be able to combine squad tactics and elements of RTS maybe like Savage? We will see once the game comes out.

You start the game as the Battle Commander Ricardo Vega who has to take care of the hardest situations just like in Renegade. The alien threat from C&C 3 is back and you are the top solder in GDI to stop it from evolving. In Tiberium you will fight the aliens from C&C 3 and of course your arch enemy, The NOD forces.

As a battle commander you have to command your soldiers in the battle field. From the beginning of the game you will be equipped with the best gear you can possible get you will get a jetpack and a GD-10 transforming weapon. With the jetpack you will be able to fly to higher grounds to control your soldiers better and with the transformation gun you can transform it into 4 different weapons all good at one special thing. The multiplayer parts of this game is still unknown but I really hope that this is something they would add because a C&C game with no multiplayer would be disappointing.
