Evidenzer is the cool software of the month but I guess the Swedish police does not agree. Do not get me wrong I do not think anybody should drink and drive but this kind of mistake is too good to be true.

The Evidenzer checks the breath of the person driving the car but for a year the software was wrong and since Sweden is an honest country the police have canceled the fine for over 500 people.

If your country uses the Evidenzer you should contact the nearest police station and file a complaint as well, maybe you can get your fined canceled as well.

Run Photoshop in Linux

Wine is a program which makes it possible to run Windows based programs on Linux, FreeDBS and Solaris. Google has now confirmed rumours that they has paid Codeweaver to adjust Wine for Photoshop and this makes it possible to run it on Linux. Wine does however only support Photoshop CS2 and not the newer CS3. Hopefully they will update Wine so that you will be able to run CS3 as well. Personally I think this is great new because I always missed a good photo editing program for Linux. I am however excited to see how many programs Wine works on for the moment and how about games, what do you think?

Audio editing software is used on a daily basis by many people so I thought I would talk a little bit about it. Mostly studios use these kinds of programs to mix and fix the music they produce. You however may think you don’t need it for anything because you aren’t in a band, but there are other uses for it that might surprise you.

You can for example make your own ring tones for you mobile phone. This can be done with simple audio editing programs and you can choose any song you want and choose exactly what part of the song you want or you can mix together a remix of you favourite songs either short phone for you phone or a long one for a real party.

Adoble Photodeluxe is one of the most popular photo editing programs available for the moment. The program is user friendly and very advanced at the same time so it can be used by the new beginner or the more professional expert. This feature is especially nice if you upload pictures to your website because big pictures take up a lot of space.

You can also convert your images into another type of image file for example a bmp to a jpeg image. Adobe Photodeluxe also features an erase facility. With this feature you an erase stuff from the picture and add new things. Let’s say you took a picture with your aunt and you want to delete her you can simply delete her from the whole picture and maybe add a hot model instead?
