Nobody hacked Sarah Palin account

I do not believe some one hacked Republican vice presidential hopeful Gov. Sarah Palin account I guess she left the Yahoo account on some of the governments computer since it is a student related to another government official involved.

All this talk about hacking just makes people scared that all the emails are in risk and that is not the case. Most of the time when your email account get hacked it is because you forget to log out or use account on another open computer.

Hacking websites is another matter because there you sometimes have some unsecure code to hack but with the Yahoo website is pretty secure.

But off course it sounds much cooler to say someone hacked into her account and off course she gets her name in the magazines.

UPS lied to me

UPS is not that cool right now. My iTouch should come long time ago but today I got an letter from UPS that they been to my door and I was not home. I called them up and told them that that was not true. They asked if I called them a liar and I said yes.

Come on I live on a small island on the coast I understand that they not want to come all the way here for me but they have to. But they should not give me this BS about being on my door because I know they have not been.

Hopefully they will come tomorrow and I will give you the review of the iTouch if UPS did not smashed it on the way out.

New Norton Internet security 2009

I have heard many good things about the new Norton Internet security 2009. The main problem as always with Norton is that it always take up to much memory and makes the computer slow. With the new version Norton has fixed that problem and the virus and spy ware is very good.

But if the virus protection is great the spam protection for email has gone wild and does not block very common spam emails and then it blocks many safe emails.

But it is still the best on the market for a full internet protection and for only $69 it’s a bargain.

iPod Touch cheating with delivery dates

I ordered a iPod Touch from the Apple website but I think they should change the text a bit. When I order it said delivery from 5-7 days and then when I had checkout already they said we start sending from 5-7 days. So the delivery date will be maybe 20 days in total. It is not really fair when you expect the iPod a date and get it 15 days after that.

I guess they will send it from Ireland or where ever they make it and then to me so it takes a few extra days, but then it should say that. If I have not got the iPod in time for my travel I will just cancel my payment with visa and tell them to stick it.

What internet browser can you trust?

Internet Explorer is not that surf safe that they wanted to say. A function that also is in Chrome Google new browser checks and saves where you surf. It will also suggest you sites that’s you might like. Chrome from Google have promised to not save the information more then 24 hours but what will Microsoft do?

Will people start looking for alternative browsers when they realise that big brother is always watching you more then you really like? You need a internet browser to surf the internet so the big companies realize that the fight must start there. Who needs ads when you can “suggest” sites in the browsers directly.

People make money from hurricane Gustav domains

Not long after the news channels started to put out reports about the New Orleans evacuation the domain names around Gustav started to be bought up.

During hurricane Katrina people gave money like never before and many donations never got to the people in New Orleans but to fake website owners.

Some of the domain names that have been registered during the last weeks

aidforgustav.com
gustav-recovery.com
gustav08.com
gustavcharities.org
gustavcharity.org
gustavcontractor.com
gustavdonation.org
gustavdonations.com
gustavdonations.org
gustavfund.org
gustavjamaica.com
gustavsecurity.com
gustavsupport.com
gustavupdates.com
gustavvictims.com
gustavvolunteers.com
hurricanegustavrecovery.com
hurricanegustavresponse.com
isurvivedgustav.com
killergustav.com
officialhurricanegustav2008.com
reliefforgustav.com
trackgustav.com
trackgustav.net
victimsofgustav.com

Most of them are up to sale and since Gustav did not make that much problem I guess they have to let the domain go and aim for next hurricane.
