The new WordPress is here one month before schedule and it’s the 2.6 you should look out for. But I am sure you already know it because now WordPress have a small icon in the blog admin that keep on telling you to upgrade.

Some of the new features in the WordPress 2.6 a word counter so you never have to use another tool to count your words. There is also a small bubble reminder when you should update your plug in. There is also a bulk management of the same plug in and I really like the new system where you not have to check yourself for an update.

There are also some security fixes and 194 bugs fixed all for the price of nothing.
