Spam is a pest but check before delete
Spam can be a pest that’s really true but to not get the email you waiting for can be a big problem as well.
Some people make the choice to block anything that looks suspect since they only have a few people writing emails to them. If you have private emails then this is the best choice and you can even install the verifier to let people answer a question before sending you an email.
But if you work in a company or from home there are always new emails coming everyday. I create a new forward email when I am not sure if the company is legit or not that I am writing to and if they start sending me spam I know where it comes from. You can for example make the email in their domain or company name to easy remember where you gave your email away.
If you know that “unannounced” but important email is coming your way you should not block and delete them on the server. Download them and let your local program like Eudora or Outlook junk check them for you in that way you can be sure that no important emails are deleted.
